We take pride in our dentistry, and in the relationships with our patients who believe in quality care. Cooperation is the key element to successful treatment. Here's what to expect at your initial appointment.
When you come in, we will ask you to fill out a medical history form. This form is important- the medical history provides vital information that helps us adjust your treatment accordingly. We have to know about allergies, sensitivity to anesthetics, long term medication- your whole health picture.
Then we will need an hour or so to examine your teeth, gums, jaw alignment, and soft tissue. We will take x-rays to find areas of infection that need treatment, and if necessary, hard cast models will be made to examine your bite. The exam includes an oral cancer analysis-again, to access your total health.
